Are you expecting a baby? Welcome your little one with warmth, wisdom, and calm, evidence‑based care with midwife Hannah.
Hannah has supported hundreds of families in having the births they hope for, offering safe, natural options grounded in both experience and science. As a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) licensed in Illinois and Indiana and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), she serves central and east central Illinois as well as Indiana with comprehensive, family‑centered care.
With a Master’s Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana‑Champaign (UIUC), Hannah’s graduate work focused on how diet and nutrition shape pregnancy, babies, and even future generations. This background informs her holistic approach to prenatal, birth, and postpartum care.
Hannah offers compassionate, personalized care through every step of your journey—prenatal visits, labor and birth support, and postpartum and lactation care—so you never have to navigate this season alone.
She believes birth is more than something to “get through.” It is a powerful rite of passage that deserves to be honored, not medicalized by default. While she collaborates closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals when needed, Hannah sees pregnancy and birth as normal life events for which our bodies are beautifully designed.
As a mom of four, a Certified Professional Midwife, and an IBCLC, Hannah brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her clients. She maintains current certification in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and has previously been certified as a birth doula through DONA and Madriella. Her rigorous training and collaborative practice standards qualify her to safely attend normal, low‑risk births at home, offering an intimate, supported alternative to the traditional hospital setting.
Hannah is an IBCLC and La Leche League group leader and can help address your questions and point you to answers.
